How to BID and BIN
BID Auction is the common simple auction type where bidders place their bids and the highest bidder is the winner at the end of the auction.
BIN (Buy it Now) Actually is not an auction. The product is sold on a fixed price set by the seller. The seller has the ability to enable the function of receiving suggestions for a better price if he desires.
In BIN procedure the buyer presses the Buy It Now button and the order is placed and recorded to his account.
After the Buy It Now button is clicked, the page refreshes and at the bottom appears the total amount he has to pay and the available payment options like PayPal, Bank Transfer or Pickup.
After the preferred payment method is chosen, the buyer is redirected to the last step page where he can add a shipping address (if this is different than the one declared during registration) and completes his transaction by pressing the appropriate button of each payment method.
With PayPal checkout the payment has immediate affect and the transaction is marked as completed automatically by the system. This is the best way as it is fast secure and more effective.
With Bank Transfer the buyer gets sellers banking details and buyer is obliged to make a bank transfer payment to the sellers bank within 15 days. In this option the transaction is marked pending and the sellers should confirm manually the payment is done in order to be recorded as completed.
With Pickup option the buyer declares that he will arrange to pay and pickup the product from sellers place. With this option seller should accept this procedure and agree with it. If seller accepts the pickup option then buyer should proceed to pay and pickup product within 15 days from the date order placed.
All members information and details are sensitive personal information and those cannot be available widely. The number which appears is a unique id that is assigned to each auction's user.
The details are available only to the parties involved in an ended order or transaction. All members are safe about their confidentiality and safety against search engines. Also even if their product is shared on social networks, no one is able to know who the seller is.
With Auto BID a prospective buyer who wishes to enter a bidding auction, can enter his maximum price he believes that he can pay for this product and the system is bidding on his behalf up to the maximum he declared when someone else makes a bid over the appeared trading price.
With this option there is no need to be always in front of the screen, watching how auction goes, in order to make a new bid when someone outbids you.
In each auction, locate the tab named "Messages" at the bottom of the page. When you select this tab an "Ask Now" button appears. By clicking on "Ask Now" a new for appears for sending a message to the seller.
Yes you can.
On auction details page there is a button which allows you to place this auction in your watch list.
By placing an auction to your watch list, you will get information about this auction like when it is close to end etc.
Notifications are available both on your email and inside your auctions dashboard.
At the moment iShipNet Auctions offers three payment options as below:

Pickup: The buyer declares that he will arrange to pay and pick the product up from sellers place. With this option seller should accept this procedure and agree with it. If seller accepted the pickup option then buyer should proceed to pay and pickup product within 15 days from the date that the order was placed.
All your activities appear on Notifications... area. In "Notifications..." you can see the summary for your recent ratings, recent messages, recent won bids and Closing watched auctions. All those are links leading to full detailed information.
No you can’t.
In order to protect both bidders and sellers Bids or Bins are not able to be recalled as this could cause problems. When someone places a bid, he creates a new price for this item and all other bidders should bid higher in order to win the item. Allowing users to cancel or recall bids, would create faulty price indication and trick other buyers to place higher bids. Same applies on BIN.
When bidding or buying, you should be very careful and sure about what you do. Also you should have read very carefully all information given by the seller, in order to avoid disputes or misunderstandings.
This option is only controlled by each seller and he should have enabled this function in order to give buyers the change to make their offers to him.
If this option is enabled by the seller then under the buy it now button there is link with bold letters "Send your offer for this auction" which opens a pop window in order to suggest offer to the seller.
After you make your offer the seller will get a notice to enter the auction and accept or reject your offer.
Bidding just to see how it works or playing with bids is prohibited and not allowed in iShipNet auctions. Also tricky biddings between friends are not allowed and such tactics could lead iShipNet to take actions against those accounts.
In an effort to offer a high standard and crystal clear procedures to our members in auctions we have place biding fee for registered members who they do not have subscription in order to make them get their bidding serious and use it on proper way.
RATING AND FEEDBACK
"Rating and Feedback" is a very usefull and powerful tool. It gives to both buyers and sellers the opportunity to have a first picture of the company that you are going to deal with, either if you buy or sell.
The rating level determines how reputable a company and the offered service is.
A high rated seller determines that this seller offers good products, his descriptions are detailed and specific, his shipping is good etc.
A high rated buyer determines that he is good and fast in his payments, did not cause any problems or tried to trick sellers etc.
On the other hand low rating determines that other members had problems in transacting with this seller or buyer.
All Ratings are between seller and buyer or buyer and seller only and can be done after a transaction completion.
The ratings are made only between the two parties involved in a concluded transaction or deal. Nobody else can leave a rating to other members.
When making a rating is definite and this cannot be changed. For that reason a rating should be left only when a deal is fully completed and all went smoothly.
In exceptional cases when something went wrong or opened a case after a rating has been left, then the resolution center may remove a rating if they notice that this rating is malicious.
Yes, if a seller or buyer notice that someone left a fake or malicious rating to him, then he have the option to open a case in resolution center against the member left the rating.
After presenting all information and or documents may be asked to present, the resolution center may remove this rating from his profile.
For each case of disputes, wrong listings, even for undelivered or unshipped products, not paid etc, every user have the option to open a case in resolution center for every problem facing with the other party.
For more information you can check the resolution center at "Help and info" section.
