Cape

A slow day in terms of volume on Cape, we found lower levels throughout the day, on the slowing index and the continued negative global outlook. Time will tell where the change in sentiment will come from, but at the moment certainly, the bears are stronger than the bulls.

Panamax

Generally, a robust start to the week with Panamax paper trading in good volume and at higher levels: Q2 traded to $6,850; Q3 to $8,500 and Q4 to $8,600. The index ($291) dampened the front of the curve with April trading back down to $5,750.

Supramax/ Handy

Sideways trading to start the week on Smx FFAs with Q2 trading up to $6850 (+$109), while, the April ranged $6600 - $6700 (+$196). On the back end of the curve, C21 traded $8675 (-$18).
