Cape

A day where the capes found a level after the recent push-up. Q3 capes topped out at $_ _ _ and traded down to low of $_ _ _, while q4 traded between $_ _ _ and $_ _ _, we await whether the physical can kick us on again, a very strong cape index today needs to be followed by another tomorrow to see these levels sustained.

Panamax

A pretty balanced day for the paper with intra-day volatility relatively subdued: May traded to $_ _ _; June to $_ _ _; Q3 to $_ _ _ and Q4 to $_ _ _. We close the day $_ _ _ under the highs with traders seemingly undecided on the next move. Further physical visibility required.

Supramax/ Handy

Smx FFAs took a downturn after the Easter break, with the market realizing that some of last week's conference rates were good bids. As a result May traded down to $_ _ _ (-$_ _ _), Jun traded down to $_ _ _ (-$_ _ _). Aided by the index drop of -$_ _ _, Q2 followed suit trading first at $_ _ _ and down to $_ _ _ (-$_ _ _), and Q3 traded $_ _ _ (-$_ _ _).
