Cape

Another positive move on the Capes, with Vale in the market for C3 July dates and a headstrong C5 market as the miners looked to fix pre-Asian holidays tomorrow. $7.45 and rumours of $7.60 being fixed led to gains on the curve as June printed at $15,600, July at $16,250, Q3 traded multiple times up to a high of $16,900 and the Cals proved liquid with Cal20 and Cal21 going through at $14,600 and a range of $13,300-$13,500 respectively.

Panamax

The Panamax paper market took a move down today with July, Q3 and Q4 all trading down to $10,350. Further down the curve the Cal20 traded at $9,000 and $8,950. A more convincingly negative index did little to help values improve during the afternoon session.
