A thin day on Cape on back of the softer C5. July traded down to $14,800, but post index the July moved back above $15,000 and Q3 back to the $16,000 level. The market remains thin and very fragile with no clear direction.

The Panamax paper traded down this afternoon after a relatively quiet morning: June traded to $9,575; July to $9,900; Q3 to $10,100 and Q4 to $10,000. It was a quieter day for the deferred contracts with Q1 trading $8,500.

Supramax/ Handy

The Supramax market saw some profit taking on June shorts which printed $8,300 and $8,350 in size, July gapped down to $9,100, while, Q3 opened at $9,750 before trading down to $9550 low. Q4 printed $9750.
