Cape

Another volatile day on Cape, we pushed in the morning to a high of $... Q2 Cape and Q3 at $..., but as another negative index came out and the stock markets turned red again, the market came off, with Q3 closing at $... value and Q2 at $... . With sentiment not changing and the market still looking weak on physical, expect another week next week of false dawns and reality checks throughout the week.

Supramax/ Handy

Smx FFAs opened up with a push Q3 onwards which mimicked the morning buying session in other dry sectors. As a result, Q34 traded $..., and the Cal 21 traded $... full (+$...). By day's end however, Q3 traded down to $..., and Q4 $..., thus erasing the earlier session gains. April once again traded down to $... (-$...) as the spot weakness continues.
